Education Program at ���˲ؾ���Expands to Include K-12

July 13th 2020 ���˲ؾ���Community College’s Early Childhood Education department has expanded its support of growing local educators.  The department’s name has changed and the scope of its work has expanded to include not only early childhood education but also K-12 education teacher preparation in response to the growing need for qualified teachers for all ages in North Carolina.

Longtime Benefactor and Volunteer Jack Ferguson Dies at 93

May 12th 2020 ���˲ؾ���lost a devoted supporter and friend when Jack Ray Ferguson passed away May 6. Jack and his wife, Carolyn, began their charitable giving to ���˲ؾ���in 1999 with a pledge to support the Foundation through three charitable remainder trusts.

May 12th 2020 ���˲ؾ���Community College has released its list of annual Academic Award winners in the college programs. Normally the students are honored in the spring at the Academic Awards Ceremony.

BioNetwork at ���˲ؾ���Collaborates to Produce Hand Sanitizers

May 3rd 2020 Through teamwork, organizations in Buncombe County were able to produce, package, and test hand sanitizers that were donated to Buncombe County Emergency Medical Services.

���˲ؾ���Foundation Awarded $35,000 to Assist Students Impacted by COVID-19

May 1st 2020 The ���˲ؾ���Foundation has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Walnut Cove Members Association’s (WCMA) Coronavirus Emergency Grant Fund and $25,000 from the SEH Tabitha Foundation.
