Meet The SGA Officers for 2019-20

William Clinton, President

A native of Buncombe County, William is a graduate of North Buncombe High School and a resident of Barnardsville. He was active in the Future Farmers of America, which lead him to A-B Tech鈥檚 SGA. 鈥淚 wanted to get more involved and this seemed like a good fit,鈥 he said. As an Information Systems student, William plans to graduate in Spring 2020. He worked for two years in manual labor jobs, including grave digging, when he decided he wanted to get more education 鈥溎腥瞬鼐體as my local school and I had recommendations from family and friends. It鈥檚 affordable and I won鈥檛 be going into hundreds of thousands of dollars into debt.鈥

Michael Crennan, Vice President

Michael is earning his Associate in Arts in the Political Science Pathway with the intention of transferring to Western Carolina University and eventually earning a law degree. He earned his HSE at A-B Tech, which led him to enroll in a curriculum program. 鈥淚 enjoy public service and volunteering,鈥 he said, citing a number of local of organizations he works with. 鈥淚 wanted to leave my footprint on A-B Tech. College should be enjoyed, not endured.鈥

Samuel Bonnici, Secretary

Samuel moved to Asheville two years ago from the beaches in Florida, where he was attending the University of South Florida. He had also been a member of the SGA at a community college in St. Petersburg. He is studying Geomatics Technology and is interested in pursuing a career in real estate, and earning a master鈥檚 degree. 鈥淚 like being involved and to create some positive change. 男人藏精阁has such a large high school population and it鈥檚 nice to be able to bring my experience.鈥
