Pat Downey, Alum and Employee, Fighting Cancer
April 30th 2019 Pat Downey, the Writing Center鈥檚 part-time limited administrative assistant, was recently diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. Pat will begin undergoing chemotherapy shortly after the conclusion of the spring semester. However, even with treatment, her illness is likely to be terminal.

February 28th 2019 The Marcus King Band, including 男人藏精阁alum Dean Mitchell, performed Friday, February 15, on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. 男人藏精阁instructor Jason DeCristofaro has taught Dean as a private music student and says he plays tenor saxophone and pedal steel guitar.
